Villa Vita, Krupówki, Zakopane, Poland

About this hotel

Villa Vita is located in the heart of the Winter Capital of Poland, right next to famous Krupówki. Once you visit us, you’ll never want to leave!

Villa Vita is situated in the historic lower part of Krupówki. It is very close from here to reach Kościeliska Valley that is called The Old Town of Zakopane. When you take a walk down the oldest, historic street of our town you go back to the origins of the highland culture.

You can admire original, wooden buildings dating back to the 19th century there. At The Museum of Zakopane Style at Villa Koliba you can find out what the phenomenon of Stanisław Witkacy was based on that enabled him to transform traditional highland architecture into a style of Zakopane.

From Kościeliska Street it is worth going to Kasprusie Street – The Szymanowski Museum in Atma. This place has a unique atmosphere. The composer lived there between 1930-1935, found his own home and composed a lot of masterpieces. Music lovers will definitely like concerts in Atma. They are always real artistic experiences.

Let’s go back to Krupówki. The Dr Tytus Chałubiński Tatra Mountains Museum, one of the oldest regional museums in Poland founded in 1889, is located about 150 m from Villa Vita. It has an abundant nature collection, folk culture objects, including glass painting collection and even more exhibits typical for Podhale.

When you go up Krupówki and turn right into Józef Piłsudski Street, after a 25-minute-walk, you reach Stanisław Marusarz Wielka Krokiew ski jump – the biggest and the most recognizable ski jump in Poland where Ski Jumping World Cup competitions are organized. Wielka Krokiew is considered to be one of the most beautiful ski jump all over the world because of its location and use of natural values of the area.

Those of you who like a little bit longer but not tiring trips can enjoy a ride to Gubałówka. A lower station of the most popular cable and ground railway getting to the top of Gubałówka massif is situated about 200 m from Villa Vita. It overlooks an impressive panorama view of Zakopane, the entire Tatra Mountains as well as the Podhale region.

If you decide to go skiing, please remember that about 75 m from Villa Vita there is a bus stop where you can get to the most popular and liked by tourists ski lift: Polana Szymoszkowa and Harenda. Some buses also reach the lower station of Kasprowy Wierch cable car. In order to provide you with the most convenient access to our facility, we offer you a map that would make getting around Zakopane much easier.
