In 2020, all rooms have undergone a major renovation. We made sure that, apart from introducing a breath of modernity, we did not forget about the real architecture of this place. Under the layers of plaster, a real brick, over a hundred years old, was discovered, which certainly remembers the heyday of Mikołajki and hides many secrets. Old beams, which are the pillars of the building, give each room a unique character. When designing the new style of King Sielawa, we were sure that the most important point would be the involvement of local companies in the work.
Our local craft market is growing rapidly and the cooperation extends the common experience. All wooden doors are made by the Masurian company Deika, which has been on the market for 30 years. In addition, the rooms have lamps, kikniests, mirrors and shelves also made by the local Playwoodworks artisan. The furniture in the rooms was also manufactured by a company located in Masuria.
